Molded by the Flow is a collaboration between the Department of Art, School of Music, and Department of Theatre.
April 14 - 29, 2017, Lewiston and Gorham
A poetic, visual and musical narrative inspired by Southern Maine’s rich natural and human history. Molded by the Flow explores how the state’s rivers, ocean, weather, plants and animals have inspired diverse groups of people to inhabit the area, and thereby shape the landscape and the history of Maine.
Under the guidance of visiting professor Paul Dresher and performance artist Rinde Eckert, students have registered for classes in music, theatre and art which are dedicated to the creation of this work.
Molded by the Flow will be premiered from April 14 to 29, 2017, first at the Gendron Franco Center for Heritage and the Performing Arts in Lewiston, and then on the Main Stage at Russell Hall, USM Gorham campus.
