Acadia National Park is about to celebrate its centennial.
David MacDonald, president of Friends of Acadia, the nonprofit park friends group, speaks on "Acadia at 99: A Partner's Perspective on the Challenges and Opportunities Facing our Park at the Launch of its 2nd Century."
MacDonald spoke recently in Southwest Harbor as part of the Annual Claremont Concert and Lecture Series, discussing the challenges facing Acadia including parking and transportation infrastructure, bureaucracy and funding and climate change.
