The BSO's season concludes with a concert of Italian masters: Rossini, Busoni, Puccini, and Respighi! The program starts with Rossini’s iconic Barber of Seville Overture and Busoni's rarely performed Violin Concerto No. 1, featuring the incomparable Frank Almond as soloist. Then we return to the passionate music of Puccini with his Capriccio Sinfonico before concluding with Respighi's Pines of Rome.
