BREWER, Maine (AP) _ Police in Brewer, Maine, say a car accident that killed two people and injured four others occurred after a westbound car crossed over the center line and collided with another vehicle.
Police say Joseph Richard of Mexico, Maine, was traveling west on Route 9 when his vehicle crossed over the line and hit a vehicle driven by Robert Collins of Barnstable, Massachusetts.
Collins' passenger, Judy Collins of Barnstable, Richard, and passenger Marjorie Richard of Mexico were taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police did not identify the two people who died in the accident. They say the investigation is ongoing and they will release more details later.
