We’ll discuss the current and future state of Cuban-American relations in the wake of Fidel Castro’s death, and examine how daily life has changed in the island nation.  We'll also talk about the culture, politics and role of Cuba in the world today. Raul Castro has stated he wishes for the thaw in relations with the United States to continue, but how will that look under the Trump administration?

Guests: Allen Wells, Roger Howell, Jr. Professor of History, Director of Latin American Studies Program at Bowdoin College
