Maine CDC Reports Two More Deaths, 18 New Cases Of COVID-19

State health officials say two more people with COVID-19 have died.

The latest report Sunday brings the number of COVID-related deaths to 109. Details about the individuals who died were not immediately available Sunday morning.

In all, the Maine Center for Disease Control reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday. That makes the cumulative case number 3,415 in the state.

At the moment, there are 534 diagnosed active cases. Twenty-seven people are being hospitalized for COVID-19, and three of those individuals are on ventilators.

Since the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Maine, 2772 have recovered from the disease.
