Twitter photo

All this week Speaking in Maine features highlights of the 2016 Camden Conference. The Camden Conference was founded in 1987 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational organization whose mission is to foster informed discourse on world issues. The focus of the conference this year was “The New Africa.”

Today’s speaker, Ms. Jennifer Cooke, is director of the CSIS Africa Program, which she joined in 2000. The program provides balanced and forward-looking analysis of political and economic dynamics within African states to better inform U.S. policy choices.
