How to create great cocktails beyond the gin and tonic or vodka and cranberry, where did cocktails come from, what's up with the return of classic cocktails and which spirits do you need to stock a great summer bar?

Ned Wight, founder and distiller at New England Distilling in Portland, Maine. He is a sixth generation distiller, Ned has been brewing and distilling professionally for more than 20 years. He honed his skills as Head Brewer Allagash Brewing Company in Portland.

Maggie Campbell, Head Distiller at Privateer Rum and currently a Masters of Wine student. She was the founder of the Denver Brewer’s League and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Craft Spirit Association . She also serves on the Wine and Spirits Education Trust’s International Advisory Alumni Board. She received her diploma in Craft Distilling Technologies from the Siebel Institute, her Level IV diploma from the Wine and Spirits Education . She previously worked as assistant distiller at Germain-Robin.
