CREATE IT Maine Recipe Challenge

Our second annual CREATE IT MAINE Recipe Contest inspired by all the wonderful cooking shows found on Maine Public's CREATE TV Channel is now closed to submissions!

THANK YOU to all of the chefs out there who sent us some amazing dessert recipes!

We — and our two SUPER partners in this contest, Southern Maine Community College and Sebago Brewing Company — are planning a LIVE bake-off featuring five finalists and we’d love you to join our audience!

Our LIVE bake-off will take place at Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) in South Portland on Saturday, April 28 starting at 2:00 pm. The activities will take place at the Culinary Arts Building on Fort Road. At the cook off, each dish will be prepared LIVE and judged by a panel of foodies.

The five finalists will each receive a prize packet including Sebago Brewing Co. gift certificates as well as certificates to area culinary stores to use to stock up their kitchens. The winner of the Create It Maine Recipe Contest will receive a $250 gift certificate and the runner-up will receive a $100 gift certificate!

Send us a note to rsvp@mainepublic.org if you would like to attend. It should be fun!
