PORTLAND, Maine — Freezing rain has caused some accidents in Maine during the morning commute.
A freezing rain advisory was in effect for parts of the state through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The freezing rain was expected to change to rain by the afternoon and end at night.
The National Weather Service says another round of low pressure will bring more rain, possibly changing to snow in northern areas Wednesday night into Thursday.
