Science Literacy

There has been a growing emphasis in encouraging young people to pursue STEM fields, yet both students and adults often have only a passing understanding and interest in science—from social sciences to physics to medicine.  How can we build “science literacy” and passion throughout our society?

Susan MacKay, founder and CEO of Cera Helix in Orono, a company that offers energy-efficient filtration technology. She has a PhD in Chemistry.
